Cultural Talks
The following is a list of activities and lectures we propose to give that would inform and challenge students, faculty, and members of your community:

We know how to prepare several classic Jordanian dishes, if the ingredients are provided it we can cook them and share them with the people, and Tony would share some Arabic songs and we can teach the traditional Arabic dance. Here we can explain our purpose and what we will be doing while we are there. Should be quite an evening.
(5) Informal Book Table/ Q & A.
Tony and I have sold our books at a regular outdoor market in old Amman for the past three years. We have a nice display. Some of our best conversations with foreigners have happened at our book table.
